He is one of the well-off person in the world, CEO of a big organization, where millions of people are working around the world. He is Bill Gates. He has made a mark in the world with his knowledge in the technology, but we will look into the tender side of Bill Gates who is contributing a part of his earnings for the deprived people who does not have enough facilities for their teaching.

As per the understanding Bill gates had on the deprivation that is spreading on different ethnic groups, he has decided to help out the young generation of these groups to fight deprivation. According to him, teaching is the only solution to remove deprivation and differences among different groups. To support students from different ethnic groups to initiate and continue teaching, he has formed a institution called Bill and Melinda Gates institution. The vision of this charitable trust was to provide scholarships for students from low income families to continue teaching. For that they have formed a list of different scholarship schemes based on different courses.

Other than giving scholarships to deprived students, the agenda of the institution includes giving big contribution to black colleges and those offices who provides scholarships to minority students.

If you honestly think you might be faced with financial problems again, it is important that you know the different financial aid programs available for your college-bound child. Just keep reading to learn the financial aids that are available to you:

Need is the main eligibility criteria for the scholarship. If a student scored low but has the strength to make good result, he/she becomes adequate for the scholarship. The current score will not become a barrier for giving the scholarship.

A Scholarship: Despite the fact that scholarships are mostly meant for students who have the ‘brains’ but not the ‘money’, not all college scholarships are intended for academics. Students who do not have the best academic record can still qualify for many other college scholarships. There are college sports scholarships, community service work scholarships, social involvement scholarships and many others. These are just a couple of the different types of scholarships for your child if he / she is not that academically talented.

‘Student Loans’: these types of loan have much lower interest rates compared to other sorts of loan. Some loans are off-set, which means that the interest does not accumulate until a student finishes college. Moreover, these loans do not require collateral, and therefore, you do not need to worry about putting your own home up as collateral against the student loan for your child. Most of these loans are available on different repayment plans at low interest rates and low monthly installment payments.

The students can get an on campus job or try to get any other scholarship in addition to the scholarship provided by Gate institution. This will relieve them from the burden of student loan and can peacefully complete the module.
